📢 “First Generation and Working-Class Academics” Workshop
🗓️ Monday, 13th April 10am – 4pm
🌏 Edinburgh
This workshop brings first results and opportunities to engage with our project that aims to widen conversations on Widening Participation from students to academics.
ℹ️ About the InFrame FirstGen Project: The workshop is part of the Wellcome Trust funded InFrame Catalyst Projects between the University of Edinburgh, the University of Glasgow and the University of St Andrews, and our goal is to strengthen dialogues and policies on Widening Participation by adding the stories of those students who became academics, an aspect of research culture which is often overlooked when talking about diversity in academia.
For more information about InFrame and its variety of projects, see here and here. For more information about our FirstGen project, see here.
Please contact Niki Vermeulen (Niki.Vermeulen@ed.ac.uk) to reserve your place (places are still available at present, but please reserve quickly to avoid disappointment).
