In 2025, the SERA Conference was held at the University of Dundee and explored the theme of ‘Past, Present and Future’.

Caroline McFarlane, University of Strathclyde, created a wonderful sketch-note of the main ideas and concepts that were discussed across the three days.

At this conference, many members reflected on their own SERA stories including: Jakob, John, Mingzheng, Denise and Marey-Allyson. Some of these have been shared on our website and others have captured their moments through the Photograph Time Capsule.
