SERA Networks provides the opportunity to discuss and further promote a major theme or issue in educational policy, theory and practice that requires dialogue across fields and research.
The network enables researchers, practitioners and other stakeholders in Scottish education (e.g. GTCS, EIS; Local authorities, Education Scotland, School leaders and practitioners) to meet by organising seminars and/or presentations at the SERA conference.
A SERA Network will thus contribute to raising awareness of the theme in Scottish educational debates and broader debates (including debates in the media) and to disseminating findings from practice and from research.
