- January 2019 – Launch of ERASMUS+ KA2 project: Disentangling Inclusion in Primary Physical Education. This project involves ScotPERN co-convener Nicola Carse and ScotPERN member Paul McMillan. This knowledge exchange project is led by the University of Luxembourg and also involves universities from Ireland, Slovakia, Spain and the Netherlands, the European Physical Education Association, European Primary Physical Education Network and SATPE.
- Ongoing 2019 – Following on from the models-based practice workshop at the SATPE conference developing a joint SATPE & ScotPERN practitioner inquiry project, a year long professional learning opportunity for teachers focused on models-based practice teaching approaches in physical education and practitioner inquiry. The aim of this professional development is to engage teachers with the research process as an approach to professional learning.
