Health and Wellbeing in Initial Teacher Education: ‘The Golden Thread of Teaching and Learning’

Presentation Overview

Health and wellbeing is a key part of Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence, but its role in Initial Teacher Education (ITE) is less understood. This presentation shares early findings from a survey of Scottish teacher educators, exploring how they approach health and wellbeing with pre-service teachers – and aims to spark reflection, dialogue, and future collaboration in ITE.
